Shortlist storage
The shortlist stores the rows you add in localStorage under the key cssbuy-shortlist-v1. Entries remain in this browser profile until you clear them, clear website data or the browser removes storage. They are not uploaded by this website, sent to CSSBuy or synchronised across devices. Avoid entering account links, order details or sensitive information. Exported CSV files are saved to the location you choose.
Cost worksheet
The cost worksheet adds the numbers you enter in your browser. Those numbers are not sent to our analytics service or saved as an account record. The result is arithmetic based on your own inputs, not a live quote.
Website analytics
We use our own Matomo service to count page visits, referring websites and broad device information. The tracker disables analytics cookies and browser feature detection, respects Do Not Track and removes query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs. Stored IP addresses are masked by the analytics service. No shortlist fields or calculator amounts are sent. Cookie-free analytics has limits when distinguishing repeat visitors.
Product link clicks
Clicking a configured product-directory button may record its category identifier and click time for aggregate use, without shortlist contents or the selected product source URL. External websites have their own privacy practices. Their rules apply after you follow an external link.
Your choices
Use Clear saved shortlist on the tool page to remove its entries, or remove this site’s stored data in your browser. Disable JavaScript to use the text guides and blank CSV without the interactive features. Use a Do Not Track setting to opt out of this site’s Matomo tracking. This website has no sign-in, payment collection or newsletter form.
